I had a successful career in Fashion PR and Marketing before training as a therapist, which culminated in the running of my own PR agency. Being from Cornwall but spending a long time in London and then Sydney has given me a wide variety of experience. I aim to be empathic, non-judgemental, open, and honest in my everyday life as well as when working with my clients.

I am deeply compassionate and am committed to enabling those who have suffered any type of adversity find their voice and start to heal. I enjoy supporting individuals or families in their quest for more harmony in their lives and understanding themselves better. I feel honoured to do this type of work and have great admiration for those who trust in me to accompany them on this journey.

I was an early and outspoken critic of the way the children and young people (in particular) were treated during the Covid Pandemic and have written numerous articles about the harms that this caused. I am now equally concerned about how young people are being harmed by screens, social media, vaping, and the political ideology related to sex education and gender identity.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their ethics. You can check out what this means in terms of my commitment to my clients by clicking on the link above.

I am ICO registered, Enhanced DBS checked, fully Insured and have regular Supervision. The most recent professional development I have undertaken is training and becoming certified in Dyadic Developmental Parenting and Psychotherapy which is an attachment focused, therapeutic parenting model.

I run a private practice from home on the outskirts of Penzance and also work in local children’s centres for families that live further afield. Alongside my private practice I used to work on a self-employed basis for a variety of organisations including the NHS and CLEAR.

I am a mum to two children – a 15-year-old daughter and 21 year old son plus I have a husband and a dog. I enjoy looking after my families health naturally, swimming, yoga, walking, reading, music, rummaging at car boot sales and the odd wild night out dancing……..
